Arden Gild Presents: Dario Acosta Teich, a virtuoso guitarist and composer from northern Argentina, and his 4 piece ensemble, premieres his new release Tierra Infinita (Infinite Homeland), a marriage of Argentine folk with modern jazz. Tierra Infinita explores the diverse sonic landscapes of South America with fresh, imaginative sounds. Featured in NPR Alt.Latino's Best New Music Round-Up in 2023 and praised by John Platt (WFUV) as "supremely talented" with an "irresistible fusion of jazz with Latin American influences," Acosta Teich's new body of work is like a river flowing through time, each track embodying a essence of Argentine folklore while connecting generations past, present, and future.
